Us photographers are always looking for good quality, natural light. And when we find it, we take advantage of it. I had the opportunity to photograph Julie, Rocco and Molly - a gorgeous couple along with their cute little one. The day was mostly overcast and we only had a short period of time to work with, while the sun is setting quickly. I love the results, enjoy! Add Comment With just a few days after Hurricane Sandy wiped out big areas of New York and New Jersey, Nicole and Tom were one of the few lucky ones that were spared from any serious harm and damages. Our hearts goes out to all the families that were affected and still suffering from the havoc. The couple's busy schedule and the sketchy weather has caused us to reschedule their engagement session a few times. So as soon as we saw an opportunity to go out and take some beautiful pictures, we made it happen. Since these two people are big sports nutz, the New York Yankees and the New York Giants to be specific. I got the idea to add a little Sports Advertising style of lighting into their shoot. I was very excited leading to this day because I get to use my studio strobes and light modifiers on location. Thanks to my friend and shooting partner Adrion for helping out with the set up. I'm very happy with all the images and I hope you all enjoy them......I can not wait for their wedding week, I'm sure it will be another fun time. Congratulations to Nicole and Tom. Just doing some light tests with my daughter Kayla. We were all stuck at home for a few days so why not make the best of it. This is my other style that is geared more towards advertising and commercial work. A lovely wedding at the terrace. It was very obvious how much love these two people have for each other. Kevin could not stop smiling from the moment he first saw his beautiful bride walk down the isle towards him. Gina was full of joy and emotions as she approached her handsome groom. The Stone Terrace with their accommodating and courteous staff was the perfect setting of this beautiful wedding. The fall breeze along with the colorful leaves set the tone of their glorious ceremony. I would like to thank Gina and Kevin for having confidence and trust on our ability to capture their big day. It was a pleasure working with them and their family. Congratulations! I love my job! Not too many people can say that about theirs. This is why I truly enjoy what I do for living. I love it when people value the importance of just slowing down and making time to enjoy their family. I had the chance to document this beautiful family just enjoying each other presence on a gorgeous day. Here are some images. Enjoy!!! It seems just not too long ago, Melanie and Glenn contacted me asking about my photography services. Almost 12 months later, the big day was here and we all witnessed these two people become one. I knew from our first meeting that I will have a blast working with this couple. They also arranged for me to shoot their engagement session. (Click HERE to see their engagement session). I was truly honored that they picked me as their photographer. They have shown me that they have great confidence in my work and my talent. I never felt so relaxed shooting a wedding. Their family and friends was also so cool and easy going which gave me the chance to just get creative and have fun. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Thanks to Adrion of Adrion Eugene Photography for being a great wing man. We hope we were able to tell their story through our camera. Congratulations to Melanie and Glenn. As my photography business grows, my tools and equipment must also be able to keep up with the demand. Until now, all post processing work was done in my small HP Laptop ( color calibrated off-course ). Although, it was fine with most of my editing work, I found myself somewhat limited to other possibilities. I can only finish my work as fast as my computer can handle. And so with the help of a talented and genius friend of mine, Nes of Nes Ramirez Films. He is building a computer rig that can withstand the punishment most professional photographer put on their computers. I know all of you are asking, why not a Mac? Trust me, I have sat down and considered it. But after days of research, I have decided that the "Mac versus PC" is a never ending argument. It's also like the "iPhone versus Droid" battle. It's still a matter of personal preference and what you are used to. It's still a tool, and use whatever tool you can to get the job done right. This is not your typical PC desktop to browse the internet and just chat on facebook with, you have the Mac for that.....hehehe. This PC can go head to head with the most expensive Mac Pro out there. Gorgeous couple. I had several people asked me if I only take pictures of beautiful people? Well, I have been lucky so far because beautiful people seems to find me. Lauren and Ryan are not only beautiful on the outside, but they are both genuinely nice and easy going people. It was very obvious that these two are very happy to be around each other and it just shows from the pictures we took that day. I certainly can not wait for their wedding day, I'm sure it will be another fun filled day. It's truly an honor that they picked me to document their big day. Monmouth University is very special to them and that's the location they chose for the shoot. They both attended the school and it is also where they first met. When I first scouted the campus for locations, I felt like a little kid walking in a candy store! There are so many beautiful sections and architectures that we can use. And to top it, the beach is just down the street from the school. Here are some of the images we took that day, enjoy and Congratulations! I had an awesome opportunity to work with a talented actor. Tom Guiry was a blast to photograph. Really down to earth guy that never runs out of stories and jokes. I was able to get some head shots of him but we spent the rest of the time just goofing around. Tom's acting debut in a movie was in "The Sandlot". He played the character of Scotty Smalls, that turned out to be an all time American favorite movie. His acting career blossomed from there which landed him with several major films. Just to name a few : Mystic river, Black Hawk Down, U-571, Black Irish,....... also on several TV series : The Black Donnellys, CSI: Miami, Law & Order, ..... Check out his full bio here. |
